Hello from Texas.
I am not completely self sufficient but do enjoy planting a great vegetable garden.

Hi and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Welcome in Tommy
- I guess vegetable growing in Texas is a bit different from UK - so what are you growing?

Thank you all for the nice welcome.snapdragon wrote:Welcome in Tommy- I guess vegetable growing in Texas is a bit different from UK - so what are you growing?
Yes, growing here is likely differant than the UK. My location has a longer growing season, but sometimes we have to take water from a well to supplement not enough rain. I missed the fall planting this year because we had such a very long drought. I did manage to plant some red lettuce that is growing nicely.
