Poorly chicken

Post: # 175884Post weeble »

First thing this morning i noticed one of my ex bats standing by their water drinker, looking very forlorn and sad. she was very droopy, all fluffed up and not interested in anything. She has stayed the same all day. Her comb has gone all pale and floppy, and she wont feed. We have only had her 3 months. Question is should i bring her indoors in a box by the fire, or will that upset her more? I am wondering if she has got cold and wet. Also has anyone experience of a 'shocked' bird. we had some pretty loud fire works here last night, so maybe that could be it. Just wondering really if anyone else had this and what the outcome was.

Thanks for info. Just been down to check them, and she has died. :( All i hope is she had a good few months out of her cage. Will keep close eye on the rest of them to make sure it is nothing nasty which she caught.

Sorry about your hen but it's really not uncommon for them to just 'go' like that. :(
