I am opening a community centre in 2 months and we will be using hand dryers and UK made recycled loo paper.

Hope this helps

Synchronous posting with Evelyn, but here's what I wrote ...

Well, I don't know any alternative, but I'd think that bamboo would be rather less eco-friendly than recycled paper. It has to come all the way from Asia, after all; unlike recycled paper. I'd go for unbleached, recycled paper. The cotton towel-machine-rolls are washed with harsh chemicals, as far as I know, so I don't think there's much to be gained there.

Perhaps others have better suggestions.

yep, was going to mention the air miles, go local and none bleached recycled, as for the hand dryers i have no guilt as the ones we will be using are high powerd and use less power than the normal ones, plus there is no waste to deal with, and nothing for some silly s** to slip trip or fall over or on.

I am ashulming that you either are or want to use eco cleaning products, just a word of H&S advice, make sure the product is recomended by the HSE just incase the same silly s** slips on a floor cleaned with it, if it isnt HSE approved you could find yourself with a compensation clame, seriously, i would not kid you.
