stink ... just thought I would come and update this thread to find pictures gone ... sorry ... I had a flickr disaster ho hum ... so heres the update ...

My daughter got me dome love washed and dyed tops for Yule and I have been spinning away... Oh and I have no idea why these pics are the colour they are as they should be postbox red and a deep blue???

oh very nice.

I dont think there will ever be an end to the things you can try re spinning etc. you get onto plying different colours together etc, natural dyes,. My current thing is blending colours when carding.. I've had lots of fun making batts of wool :icon_smile:

best was roadside cafe when out visiting on the bike - leather clad biker with a spindle and pocketful of fleece :thumbright:

I love Red's blend too :iconbiggrin: I'm trying to mix in some dyed 'shop' merino (arrived with a cheap spindle) with home processed fleeces to spread the big colours about
