Hello from Lincolnshire

Post: # 188091Post pelmetman »

Hello we have just joined today although my better half found this site a while ago.
We are keen on being as self sufficient as possible as I hate spending money :( I have apparantly been green since before it became fashionable, but in those days it was called being mean
We hope to gain plenty of tips on cooking on our log burner, and growing veg, which I am rubbish at and just seem to manage to feed slugs, bugs, badgers and everything else except us :banghead:
Kind Regards
Pelmetman Dave

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi and welcome! Do you make pelmets, or just have a thing about them?

Aha, thought so as that's quite a fancy curtain/pelmet in your avatar! Now how exactly does Troy help?

He's very well behaved isn't he - my cat would be there on top of Sue's feet testing it out properly. In fact he has been testing my knitting (jumper for my hubby) by hiding inside it a couple of times! He said it was very warm and snuggly.
