White fly...!!

My tomato seedlings are barely hatched and already they've got white fly! I've never had this before, but I moved to a new place and I guess I'm getting to know the local pests right away. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, as I read it is a really hard pest to combat. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

At this moment the plants are still babies and go from the greenhouse into my living room every night. Interplanting with lavender, tagetes, basil isn't really an option at this point in time.

Anyone experience with biological warfare (gruesome concotions, or those killer wasps that seem to exterminate whitefly)?

Any help and comiserations are appreciated.

you can buy those sticky sheets - they do work - but prolly wont remove them all, but it will be workable again.

unfortunately, once you have whitefly... it can be difficult to get rid. you can use one of those sulphur things you burn in greenhouses.. not as bad as using chemicals on the ground and plants i guess.. but I'm not entirely sure of the eco creditials

Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to do both. I never saw a white fly (except brassica white fly) in my life before.

same here - but turns out they were alive and well in the greenhouse we got when we moved house.. then I managed to transfer it via plants to the greenhouse we built! - but the sticky paper things, along with throwing open the doors during winter, seem to have killed it.
