Hello from the Garden of England
The sun is shining and it seems a good time to stop lurking in the shadows and come out and say hello!
I'm in Kent and having reached the end of my tether with my job, I gave it up and at last have time (and absolute necessity) to live as self-sufficiently as possible.
My first gardening achievement came in the brownies with earning my gardening badge. Proud moment! I've cleared various gardens over the years and done some random gardening but its now that I'm back in Ken, married, with a south facing garden and no commuting that I can get on with living the way I want - planting, tending, fending off bugs, harvesting, cooking, preserving recycling and using my creativity to live a rich a life as possible.
So hello everyone, its nice to be here!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
