Think this fits in here, it's an article i've just found in the newspaper having been a bit behind in going through the supplements. It's on edible flowers. Here's the article from the online edition:

Certainly makes the dish look prettier when theres flowers on there. Found a book on Amazon about edible flowers which I nearly bought - cant remember why I didnt :dontknow: theres loads of flowers to choose from. Just sometimes wonder whether people eat things for the sake of it rather than for the taste - just to be seen to be different. There was a prog on TV during the week where the woman made dandelion flower fritters - they all agreed they were delicious but was it really because of the batter rather than the flowers? Going to have to try. :flower:
