I only know mine as mulots which leave holes everywhere and burrow just under your newly planted seedlings leaving raised channels all over the place and do the same to the lawn, so I spend half my time stomping everything back into place. They love burrowing under my strawberries so I spend ages pushing soil back down the holes. Half my plants live with their roots dangling in bare mouse tunnels. :( But so far the only thing they've eaten under ground have been parsnips, I think they just chase worms or something.

It seemed strange to me that so many of you have mice eating your pea seeds but don't have 'mulot' damage to contend with for 9 months of the year like me. :dontknow: Must be a different species.
