I'm an English Ex-pat living in Alberta, Canada. Have recently bought 10 acres of bush-land which I'm converting into something that I hope will help me live selfsufficient~ish. I'm living off-grid with my wife and kids, generating our own electricity from solar panels and pumping water from our own well. Have just built a greenhouse and planted a veggie garden... kinda guessing my way around since gardening is new to me.
Animals include 1 dog, 2 cats, 25 chickens and plans this summer for fencing so I can keep a few sheep or goats. I have no idea how to look after sheep or goats, but hoping I can learn something here
Oh, and after being inspired by the 'home-brew' section, I've started a batch of wine
