Hello from north oxfordshire

Hi - we are Rick & Carol, located in a small village in North Oxfordshire but hoping to relocate to West Wales over the next year or so where we will buy a smallholding. We have chickens, two collies, an empty bee hive which we'll populate after the move, a landrover and a morris minor traveller. We forage, grow, and cook creatively. We were river cottage members but got fed up with the complexity of the site (still big HFW fans) - like Jamie and Jimmy Doherty too.

we are overthegate members where we post reguarly under the same name.

Just had nettle soup for tea and got a bunch of dandelion roots roasting in theoven as i type this for DR coffee which i found the recipe for on this very site today.
