Radishes Pulled

A row of radishes was planted on 2 May 1010. They have been in the ground for 34 days. This is to long, and due to weather did not grow faster. It rained heavily last night. When the sun comes out the radishes will split, so I decided to pull the row. Due to the slow maturing there were more culls than reasonably good radishes. The quality is marginal. But the good side is there is another row that appears to be growing well. These radishes should mature in less than 25 days to be quality. Radishes only keep well in the refrigerator for about five days. The leaves can be eaten as greens. There were a few worms in the bunch that I cleaned. The damaged area was cut away.
