Dragon fruit

Post: # 199561Post dianafaery »

Hi ,
I live in ireland but when i was in dubai I bought a dragon fruit and brought the seeds home .
I've planted them in regular compost and nearly all have sprouted . That was 3 months ago and none have reached over an inch any idea's on what to do .

Oh there inside on my bathroom window ( in a pot that says very tasty )

Mmm... I love Dragon Fruit!!
But I'm not sure we have the climate for them, do we? Maybe they would do better in a greenhouse if you have one?

I think the next time I see one, I might buy it just for the seeds & give it a try in our polyhouse - everything in there is germinating & growing at treble the rates of our polytunnels, so it has to be the best place for 'hot' plants!

Welcome to Ish by the way, where in Ireland are you??
The more people I meet, the more I like my garden

dublin ,
the bath room is a sauna everythin rows i there ,
but they were so fast sproutING but havent grown anymore .
I'm worried that if i water them too much they might get water logged but then am wondering that maybe they'll grow faster .
