Thought I'd pop in and say hi!

I have a pony(for sale), 3 chickens, incubator ready to hatch 60 eggs, bantam orpington pair hopefully showing and breeding this year, 2 kids, 2 guinea pigs, 1 dog and a very patient OH. Currently growing, cucumber, cabbage, brocolli, butternut squash, lettuce, chickory, raddichio and waiting for the rest... No allotment as yet but should have one by next week - cant wait.

Hm, yes, a pony is a bit of a problem in the back garden... But you must have some kind of land already - or where are you going to put all those chickens, once they are hatched? Or are you selling the pony to make room to hens...

Now then Olive,
I'm a Lincs girl by birth & always will be in my heart. Whereabouts in that enormous county are you?

I'm from Lincoln itself, but am first generation townie. Family is from the north of the county. Some are still there & still involved in farming. I like to visit, but nowadays it's not as often as I'd like due to illness.

I still live in the centre of a city, but have veg in the garden & a plan for an allotment as soon as I'm well enough. This site & these people are inspiring a lot of plans.
