Favourite vegetable poll
Ok, this may have already been done somewhere in the forty-eight pages of this topic but I didn't have time to go through every single one.
and yes I know there are lots of other wonderfull vege but the poll limits you to fifteen options, maybe the admin people could create some kind of super poll to determine the Ish most favourite and most hated vege.

Re: Favourite vegetable poll
Oh I forgot sweetcorn! I noticed after posting that we have 5 votes so mine are:
PSB
Sweetcorn
Cos lettuce
Home grown spiky type cucumbers - or maybe asparagus but I only eat that fresh about once every 5 years
Curly kale
I would add globe artichokes but the last time I ate one I got the Jerusalem artichoke effect and was up all night so I don't dare try them again.

Re: Favourite vegetable poll
Am I really only allowed 5? I haven't met a vegetable I don't like!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Mushrooms are the only veg I don't like - I think they are a Marmite vegetable, everyone I know either loves them or hates them!
I couldn't poss choose a favourite between parsnips and brocolli!

Re: Favourite vegetable poll
I can't believe how popular parsnip is. I gave it equal billing with turnip and sweed on the most hated vegi list. Still my mother and one of my brothers will be very happy with its ranking.
My all time bestest vegi on the planet is Broccoli.
Of the choices, I voted
Potato
Rhubarb
Beetroot

Re: Favourite vegetable poll
I'm so sick of parsnips that thankfully only 6 bothered to germinate this year and that will do me fine for roast dinners, the only time I use them.

Re: Favourite vegetable poll
Not even the top ten culinary herbs. If the intention is to limit the poll to 15 herbs, I might call a motion for reconsideration. Basil, Sage, Mint, Thyme, Coriander, Dill, and others should be in there.
