Another lurker finally introducing themselves!
I live in the south of New Zealand, and am interested in self sufficiency. We have just moved to a house in town, with a tiny, shady, backyard (will be asking for planting advise later!), and we also have 20 acres of pasture, about 10 minutes away. Sort of like a large allotment, I guess!
I have enjoyed reading the posts, and will be checking in here often. 8)
Hello from New Zealand
G'DAy Magpie,

I used to do work in Christchurh every so often, are you anywhere near there?

Welcome
Hi there - I am new here - but enjoying the type of people - so I will be around a bit.
My sister lives in Christchurch - and we are due a visit - cannot wait but I guess it is years off - and I must overcome my opposition to air travel (easily done).
Your plot sounds very interesting - glad you are here.
Best wishes
