Three Free Chickens to a good home
Three Free Chickens to a good home
I feel very sad to have to write this but needs must.
I have to get rid of my three girls. This is heart breaking for me but it is out of my control. If you have the space and would like to adopt three lovely chickens then get in touch.
They're gingernut rangers and are coming up to their second birthday.
If you live in the north west I will even drop them off to you.

Oh Ben, if you were in the NW Scotland I'd happily take them off you!
Sorry you're going to have to part with them but i'm sure someone will love them.

That is really sad
We are up the M74, in Lanarkshire.... if you can't find anyone closer I'm sure we can find some space here.
(guess you mean NW England)???

Thank you both for your replies.
Ann if I don't hear from anyone closer, I'll take you up on your offer (yes I meant NW England).
I'll keep you informed.

Thank you for your reply happy place.
I've just looked at Surrey and Lanarkshire on googlemaps and they're both over three hours away from my house!
I think that would be too much for the girls to take.
I'm currently asking people at work, so I'll let you know if I find somebody to have them.

I live in Leeds if any nearer for you and have room for more chickens in my D.I.Y shed-coop.

Re: Three Free Chickens to a good home
Thank you Trace45 for your offer but I'm pleased to say a friend at work has just offered to have them. He and his wife already have bees (I've sampled a jar of their honey and it was fantastic). They have just bought a few chicken last weekend so they happy to have three more.
They live in the middle of the country, so my girls will have enough space to run about and make as much noise as they like.
The best news is they only live an hours drive from my house, this shouldn't be too much trouble. They'll be at their new home before they know what's happening.
Thank you again for all your replies.

Re: Three Free Chickens to a good home
Well I'm pleased to report that my three girls have gone to a lovely home. I dropped them off on Saturday and I've had reports back that they have settled in perfectly.
The couple who have taken them have a few hens already but they also have a cockerel, so my girls should be in for a treat
Thanks again for all your replies.
