Great - I get spider bites occasionally here - so off to dig up bindweed roots! :lol:

The explanation about the man made woodland or orchard type of garden makes much more sense. If everything is planted around the same time they've got more of a chance than trying to plant things in a 1000 year old deep shade forest. :iconbiggrin:
