Re: Rain?
Today it rained in London, not a lot but you could call it rain, the first time, except for a few minute drizzles, since the first week of May - 3 months

Re: Rain?
We had some rain in Kent today...just enough to lay the dust where I am....I think it rained for about 30mins! Made lots of noise but need a couple of hours steady rain at least! I think we were on the edge of the london shower!!
The cockerel makes the noise, the hen produces the goods!! anon

Re: Rain?
We always seem to be on the edge too whenever I see the forecast on British telly
- we always miss the Brittany rain which falls to the west, the Cherbourg/English rain which falls to the north and basically the rest of France rain which is always to the east or south.....
Got 6mm which was enough to give me a night off watering the pots and veg patch but we could really do with 10 times that !!! Haywards Heath got 30mm the lucky buggers!
