Hello from North Devon
Hello all
I'm a single mum, 31 and live in a village in Devon. Before that I had five lovely and hard years trying the John Seymour thing in Southern Ireland with my ex partner and kept goats, sheep, all manner of featheries and grew food. Now I have a sizeable garden, three lovely hens and a killer rabbit ( it belongs to my 4 year old, nothing to do with me. The bunny is evil).
I've only had my house since March but I am loving building a garden from scratch and squeezing in what I can this season. I'm building a Shaker-style raised beds section at the back and planting veg in a pile-em-in cottage garden style riot in the front, under my baby fruit trees. It's slow going though as money and a lack of a car in a rural setting makes life difficult. I may resort to child labour.
Don't know what else to say really, if I waffle on too much I'll have nothing to add in the rest of the forum!
Looking forward to getting some advice and swapping seeds from like minds.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
