Hello my name is sarah,
what a fantastic website to discover, while searching for kilner jar seals
. Has any one a recipe for a spicy sloe gin? I have discovered a bountiful hedgerow longing to be picked and enjoyed for christmas....I might even share the gin! .....

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hello and welcome
I love the idea of spices in the sloe gin and I am very tempted to try when I get the 1st batch of sloes out of the freezer.

Hi and welcome
Spicy sloe gin. Now that sounds good. I'd not thought of adding cloves but it sounds really nice. Guess a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon wouldn't go amiss either.
Ah, the Isle of Wight. Brings back fond memories of summer holidays with my gran in Shanklin. Couldn't wait to go to Blackgang Chine.
