Hoping that reading and learning on this forum will give me some great ideas that can be done on little, i think im in the wrong season now for veg growing but i maybe wrong :dontknow: i do have room in the garden that i can grow veg and as its only me and the 13 guinea pigs and 2 rabbits that eat (hubby is peg fed) dont need to worry too much :) but i do enjoy home crafts ect well enough of my waffle

Hi witchwoo!

There's a few things you can plant in the garden even now - some veg can overwinter, or is even better planted before the frost: garlic, for example; and there are onion, broad bean and pea varieties that are meant for autumn planting (make sure you get the right varieties).

Welcome to ISH :flower:

Fran, you're awfull! (ie you got there before me    )

Witchwoo, you could always grow a few salad leave in pots on a sunny window sill, as well as bean sprouts & cress. How=evere this is THE best time of year to think about growing veg as all the seed catalogues are out.

Spend a happy hour or too drooling & you'll be a seasoned gardiner in no time
