Big skies, lazy winds, great beaches........we didn't like hot weather so moved north, think you're very lucky too :sunny: .

Thought I would say hello to add some balance to the forum map of NZ seeing as I am right in the middle of NZ at the bottom of the north island in Wellington. We moved here earlier this year from Scotland, with one child, a cat and 2 dogs. So as far as doing our own thing is concerned I am taking rather a backwards step, but at least now that spring is here I have got some veg on the go. Missing my hens back in Scotland though. Your blog looks so interesting and those cows are incredibly sweet...

if I went to the coast and leaned out a bit and waved I could just about say hullo in person....have you got the 'orrible rain we do at the moment?

The land of the long white cloud is my second home- never made it that far north spend most of my visa in south Island in Takaka golden bay - learnt alot on your land and miss my family there good people beautiful land and magikal places!
