Well we went over to the Republic of Ireland to meet Julie Sherris & it changed our lives! So much so that we had to nip to Flibble's to dump 'lego' on her daughter(or hubby! ) to lighten our load.We also met Camile and his Lady whilst we were in RoI.

We'd love to be visited/visit other ISHers before we're too far away. (PM's welcome)

Nobody yet :(

But not for want of trying, so far funerals and bad weather has thwarted all efforts to meet the wiltshire lot!

Maybe during one of the dark long winter nights the Wiltshire/Bristol contingent (sorry to veer off a little) could meet somewhere - I am happy to volunteer my kitchen table, or perhaps a very understanding pub?

We could do the winter equivalent of a picnic...a pot luck dinner, where everyone brings a random dish. Or soups?

It is nice to think that we are dotted all over the country though - I would love to see a map with everyone on it!

Someone said they'd do a world map a while ago. Anyone remember? Or volunteering?

I've met loads of people off a music forum i post on - we have regular nights we arrange where we bring our own records and take it in turns to play music. Though off here i've met no-one though you're all such nice people.

And I'm in the Central Belt too, as is Ann Pan. We're both in South Lanarkshire.
I was supposed to meet up with Ann a couple of years back, but I wasn't well. GP at first diagnosed Shingles - turned out it was actually my youngest child!

No one. :( I doubt if there's any ish-ers within 100 km of me, and probably not more than one or two within 1000 km.

Cool, Linlithgow is just over the hill from us, got a farmers market and still manages to sustain some lovely independent stores despite being so close to the retail-hell that is Livingston.

Funny sort of shingles that! We could organise a central-scotland-ish ishers meet sometime?

Ah Keith don't feel all isolated. I don't think there is one Isher on the Island with me- although there are plenty on another forum I pop into called Aussies Living Simply where I also see Wombat ambling about...haven't met anyone fron that one either though!
I have made a few "real life" friends from a previous forum and I am meeting up with some from NaNoWri Mo forum tomorrow. Having our own business, two small kiddies, a messy garden etc means that most of my socialising is done virtually but at least i get to chat to folk . if we ever make it over to the Northern hemisphere though we will be doing some serious Isher stalking (but not for a few years... travel with a two year old is bad enough locally in a car....oh the potential horrors of a 36 hour flight...)
