My phobia of metal.

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Corningware looks lovely stuff. I wound up with the Visions as they had a 3.5 litre pot on offer but unfortunately i've just discovered why it might have been on offer - there is a slight crack by one of the handles which could worsen. Will contact them to see if they can offer a replacement... so i may still wind up with the Corningware option.

I love silicone bakeware, use the little fairy cake ones which saves paper...not cheap though if some bright spark throws them away rather than wash them  . My pyrex is also decades old...it cleans beautifully and looks good. Did have a cassserole with removable handle...wonder where that went??
Wonder why the rusty old useless baking trays never get lost but the useful dishes and utensils vanish in my kitchen??? :dontknow:
The cockerel makes the noise, the hen produces the goods!! anon

Don't buy the poundshop silicone bakeware! It doesn't actually hold like the better silicone does, it droops!
