9pm tonight BBC 1 - a real don't miss job - Attenbrough's "Can we save planet earth" - if you don't have a telly, visit a neighbour who does! :dave:
Mass-market, peak-hour viewing from someone with true gravitas!
http://solarwind.org.uk - a small company in Sussex sourcing, supplying, and fitting alternative energy products.
Amateurs encouraged - very keen prices and friendly helpful service!

a deeply moving programme - I feel a rant coming on - anyone of a sensitive disposition is advised to cover their ears! :(
The truth is, governments are fiddling while the planet burns - there is visibly no political will to do a damn thing about global warming. They pay lip-service to it whilst doing precisely buggerall!!!!!!!!
If you want to know how seriously this bunch of total tossers we have ruling us takes this threat, they have awarded a whole 50 million quid for three years of renewables grants - take off 30 million for admin (just like their predecessors, Clearskies) - we are left with 20 million quid over 3 years - 6.66 million per annum, 10p per person per year - balance that if you can against the fact that Whitehall bureaucracy costs each and every one of us £855 per annum! :geek:
As was pointed out in the programme, we CAN do loads ourselves, without farting about waiting for the Houses of Parliament to be under water before they notice! :dave:

Good on you for ranting about that...

I didn't watch it (not having a TV), but I think everybody else did - it was noticeable quiet on the forum!
