Brightest Greetings from a sunny Suffolk
Hi my name is Jo and I moved from Nottingham five years ago to Suffolk to slow down and enjoy "the good life" I'm 37 and couldn't afford a small holding but bought a comfortable park home with a fairly sizeable garden around it. My plan was to be as self sufficient in vegetables as I could and maybe I could one day afford my dream. I make most things myself, bread, jams, wines, I will basically have a go at anything (but Im not promising it will turn out ok
) Due to having to work full time the past four years i have been playing at the self sufficiency but I am hoping to reduce my hours soon and get on with what i came here to do. Any advice will be very welcome and muchly appreciated as everyone I know thinks I am mad and its nice to see I'm not the only one who has felt this way for a while now.
Thankyou x

Hello Jo!
I have just joined, and also live in Suffolk, between Bury St. Edmunds and Thetford. I suppose I had better do my own intro. now!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
