Hello from North Lincolnshire

Post: # 227787Post skinnimini »

I am a new person saying hello. I'm not sure if I can be classed as self sufficient because I don't have to do anything for the money that the government gives me every week. Though I suppose you could say they owe it to me, for the 45 years that I did go to work. I like a simple lifestyle, shop at charity shops and car boot sales, use recycled materials for craft work, grow my veg, and do voluntary work. So hello everyone.

Hi there and welcome!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi skinnimini

Welcome to the forum sounds like a lot of your activities fall into self sufficient category if you are recycling stuff and growing your own veg. Hope you find lots of useful info here and post some of your own tips.
Nobody notices what I do until I don't do it.

Hi, Yes, I am happy to take responsibility for my own destiny. The last few years of my working life was for an agency, I could choose when to work, and who to work for. I reckoned that if I didn't spend any money, I didn't need to earn it. My foraging has always taken place at the dreaded supermarkets, I cherry pick the cheapest, the best buys, the reduced items, and still only eat what is good for me.

Thanks for the welcomes
