Hello from Portsmouth
I have started to feed our Labrador puppy raw meat and bones since Feb. Struggling to find a good butcher near where I live. I wonder if it is possible to get to know someone in Portsmouth who can give me some advice on this. Our dog is very eco-friendly - we often try to buy her cuts of meats that human would otherwise considered 'disguisting'....all the offal and stuff.....would probably look into Wild food and Foraging page in a bit. Cheers...My name is Jess

Hi there and welcome Jess

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi Jess - and your dog
I can't help with the Portsmouth bit (but I'm sure someone from that neck of the woods will be along soon) but just to make the point - dogs do not eat a meat-only diet. They need cereals too, so make sure you have some biccy-type stuff. The only problem there is that they're also fussy buggers - if yours is anything like mine, you'll have to go through several varieties to find one it likes. And then only on Thursdays.
