Almondy paste/dough thinggy

Almondy paste/dough thinggy

Just had one of the almond pastries that I got from B/ham with tea ... very nice ... Does any one have an idea what the recipe could be .. they are g/f They are like an almond paste dough, no dairy either heavy on the nuts for decoration and glace cherries .. the one I just had looks like some one has pushed a thumb in and filled with strawberry jame ... they are so good and I think they would be very easy to make ...if I knew the recipe. :?

oh they look very much like them ... so will have to get a couple of things potato starch for one ... :icon_smile: Thanks flower .. I appreciate you help.. spent an age yesterday trying to find a recipe .. :dontknow: they are very nice and filling .. and I often find as G/F snacks are rubbish ... unless it flapjack :icon_smile:
