the Remnant shop in colchester (now called fabric8) has a sale on their off the bolt fabric, not to mention their normally great remnants.
I spended too much :( but hey, I got loads for it lol.

Soph's gonna get a new party dress this week from really pretty dotty silk-effect polyester, black with pastel dots on. really pretty.
I'm getting some new summer trousers from formerly prohibitively expensive batik and embroidered fabric, and a dress from some dfferent silk-style poly.

I had a great day lol.
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very
ve-he-he-he-heryyyyyyy soooooooooooon!!!!

so jealous, if we had a decent fabric shop round here i would bother getting my machine fixed, but the closest we have is 15 miles and thats just a john lewis (not even sure if they still have material) but the only one closer is just upholstery material :( :(
the ever growing luvpie household currently contains, 4 boys, 4 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 4 fish, an empty tropical fish tank waiting new arrivals, now are we daft to look at our broody hen thinking, if we got some fertilised eggs........

Oh I wish I was rich...I'm a fabric-aholic too. We are spoilt on Leicester market with several good fabric stalls. Hence I try not to go there too often; the overdraft would creak!

I also haunt the £1 rail in my local charity shops for items to up-cycle.

Looking foeward to the pics Flibsey

I do the same thing at our charity shops. I started by repurposing bed linens and have recently begun looking at the curtains, jumpers, and other clothing for fabric repurposing. I love the jumpers especially, there are so many ways to reuse the knit!
