We will spend most of our time in France and Spain, but looking into Portugal, Italy and poss Greece.

We have to sell our house first, so we are trying to not get too excited but who knows.

Of course we will miss our garden but we have lots of family/friends scattered around who we plan on helping out from time to time SO if you have space for one old camper to park up for a week or two in exchange for helping out in the garden please let us know.

Hi,

Thanks Battybird for that, we may well come out of the woodwork and take you up on your kind offer, we are not professional gardeners but have many years experience of working on our own garden, and may well need a gardening fix.

Sounds exciting Pelmetfamily! :thumbright: Will you have internet connections in the elderly campervan? Would love to hear about your travels, hope you do a blog! Maybe if you find your way to Brittany......not sure about a week or two (don't guests smell after a few days  ) also can't have a dog running around here either (if he is coming with you) but would love to meet you.

Yes we always take our laptop with us as most camp sites offer WIFI these days, it will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends and we need to keep in contact with you lot.

Wow leave Troy behind - never  He has his passport and comes everywhere with us, earlier on in the year we took him down to Gibraltar. As soon as he sees the camper come out of the garage he gets really excited.

We have decided to sell up and clear off in our elderly camper, people we have told all think we are mad

Trouble is now days people get on the tread mill and can only see the mortgage, 2.5 kids, pension etc etc and at the end of the tunnel
WOW! Well done, what an exciting prospect. I hope you have a wonderful time (c'mon, how can you not???!) and if you are ever down Wiltshire way we have a big drive and a bigger garden you are welcome to!!

Interesting people think you are mad. Our theology student receptionist told me the other day: Freud's definition of insanity is when a person's behaviour makes them miserable, but yet they continue to repeat it.

So I would say it is not YOU who are the mad ones!!

Good luck and happy travels :flower:

So, chapter 2

I've resigned from work

It'll be another three months before I'm free but I can't wait.

I was still doing the same 'temporary' contract that I started nearly two years ago. It will be two years by the time I leave which is why enough was enough.

Going to to carry on with my OU degree and spend some time doing my art and design work. I've another art exhibition coming up in September and lots of contacts going forwards.

Counting down the days.
 Zoe
