There are three prolific plants alongside the deck, growing up a trellis. They have large, dark colored fruit, and are the only type of marble sized tomato that I now grow. They have a pleasant taste and are usually eaten raw. The fruit tends to ripen in clusters, facilitating picking. Splitting seems to be minimized, which is helpful. The fruit is produced until frost arrives.

I haven't come across them before, at least not amongst the ready to buy plants from the garden centres. But no dog in the photos! - though I'll forgive you as the pair of discarded wellies is cool.

Re: Black Cherry Tomato
Black cherry was voted one of the best tasting tomatoes by friends and family last year, but the seed was expensive, only got a few seeds in the packet so didn't grow it this year, although I now see T&M are doing 25 seeds for £2.19 , so will definitely grow again next year.
