About soapy water: I used regular washing-up liquid, not Ecover or BioD or whatever was mentioned earlier. I couldn't find any eco stuff here. And that certainly did mess up the leaves, at least in the concentration I used. Sprayed leaves browned and wilted. Same with the nasturtiums, which had the same (or very similar) aphids. Next time, I'll try a weaker concentration or get lucky and find some Ecover-like soap.
