Hello, we are new!

Post: # 247189Post Pumpkin&Piglet »

Hi, we are new to the site, our friends introduced us as it were via facebook.
We have recently moved to Gloucestershire and are getting into the whole country living. I would love to become more and more self sufficient but my husband needs some persuading.
We currently have only a small concrete space at the back and a small grassed area at the front of our village cottage and are limited further as to what we can do because we rent and our landlord has to approve everything.
We have a few vegetables growing in pots though out back and on windowsills and we are wine and cider making along with chutneys and jams.
Lots of plans to expand our vegetables and hopefully get one or two landlord approved pets. Any ideas f things to try are very welcome

HI there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hello and welcome I'm sure you will enjoy this forum. I have spent quite some time in Gloucestershire in Moreton in Marsh.

Hi and welcome. I'm just down the road in Wiltshire and currently work in Cheltenham (not for much longer though!).

Good luck with the growing.
