Re: Ladies Online
Might be entirely innocent. Might be an online support group for ladies. Or not.

Re: Ladies Online
All I get is ads for underfloor heating and greenhouses?
Maybe it knows what you have been searching for recently?

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

While funds are very low we don't get to choose exactly what adverts are put up by g00gle. We get a very small donation when people click and we can stop adverts that we really hate.
it does, g00gle ads do track what sort of adverts you have clicked on. you can use private mode in firefox or incognito mode in chrome and it will give you totally different adverts.boboff wrote:All I get is ads for underfloor heating and greenhouses?

Re: Ladies Online
I only got this laptop back on Saturday, with a completely new hard drive, and haven't been searching on anything much and certainly not ladies of any type. I won't be clicking on the ad for ladies, though. Sorry.boboff wrote:So then what has our Mike been a searching for then?
EDIT: I did, however, click on the Thompson & Morgan (France) ad that miraculously appeared when I posted to say I didn't want online ladies. How clever is that????

I do a lot of searching around Anglo Saxon dates - not a single Anglo Saxon ad has ever popped up. Mind you, right at this moment, there's an ad titled "Why can't I find a date?" just to the right.

I had similar trouble when preparing the dissertation for my Masters. I needed some tool to help me analyse qualitative data. My tutor advised something called (if memory serves) NUmerical Data Interface Statistical Tool.
In those days I hadn't refined my internet search skills and Hotbot (no Google back then) didn't have much in the way of filters! So you can imagine what a search for NU.D.I.S.T. brought up

I've got hideous pink sh0es with lime green stiletto heels and a turquoise trim..... now I don't google this kind of thing. Nothing I see in the ads bears any resemblance whatsoever on what I look at on the internet. I thought they were due to key words in the threads of the forum.
Like tea, tea, nice cup of tea, tea tea tea tea.
Let's see if that works again.
