D'ya think this is a bit of a joke? I tried it with a very similar photo but this time with a mouth shut smile and none of the first lot of 'celebs' (never heare of them anyway!) come up this time!!!

Although with my mouth shut I resemble Ralf Schumacher (and some women, thankfully!!)!!!!!

The bald black man was Terry Oquinn. Who?

I'm not sure about this site. Is it just me or is the site filled with dud links? Not sure if my security is blocking them, or whether they just don't exist? Other than the upload facility, login and About us page, can anyone else actually access the genealogy etc pages?

It wasn't the US TV actor Terry O'Quinn was it? He pops up in things like West Wing, NCIS, JAG, Alias and the odd movie or three.

I found it doesn't work with some browsers - the only one I could get it work with was Firefox 1.5.0.4

I can't get in, either - but then our computers are very slow, again, if they are working at all... I'll be glad if I can get anything posted.

Anyway - I know who I look like: The dead half of the two fat ladies, not quite resurrected. (Sorry - you can guess I'm not feeling on top of the world just now!)

Aw Ina... Chin up mate.

Am sure you will be back on top of it all again soon. You want me to take you for a spin in the sidecar? You could show me the sights.

Wooohooo... What a hoot! I can see us now!

It didn't for me either, I couldn't click on any of them. What I did was delete the 'blurb' after the website address in the address box at the top of the screen, go into the site that way and navigate to the who do you look like bit. If that makes sense!

Yeah it does, Mandy. I did that too, and the page (face match thing) works but nothing else on the site did, other than a very evasive intro page that included some refs to a guy with expansive virus experience! and the pages that collect data (sign in and upload) Made me wonder if it was legit...? Just seemed very weird... Can't say I have ever seen a family history site quite like that... When others are saying they are getting in, do they mean to the face thing, or to the site itself (research and family pages?)

The concept is pretty cool - matching faces in family trees - just not sure if it is fair dinkum...

I have been caught before with a corrupt photo upload that exposed my whole system, so wasn't going to take a chance with this.

I am happy just thinking I look like a friend of every second person I meet... Dunno how many times people have said, "Wow, you look heaps like a friend of mine!" I just laugh now and say, "Well, that's a good start!"

I'm not sure it is fair dinkum  either - as you can't get back in to look at your photo(s) or of anyone else. In which case why does it ask you to give a 'nickname' which will be displayed. BTW Millymollymandy and MMM were already gone!!! WHO IS THE IMPOSTER?

I think it's legit - the Washington Post did a story on it and said the company is based in Israel, but that the software is evolving.

What's really fun is uploading celebrities and seeing who they supposedly look like.
