The news on TV every thing must have an illustration. Story about money - picture of bank notes. As if we don't know what money is!

Politicians who believe that we are all stupid and cannot think for ourselves, lack the intelligence they themselves posses, have no understanding of worldly affairs, and screw every penny they can out of the system they created.

The way that making money and owning things has become the new religion encouraged by politicians of every stripe over the past 30 years. We have collectively paid a heavy price, socially, politically and environmentally.

This guy at work. Everytime I leave him a message on his desk, he has to come and ask me about it even though the messages are very simple and always written clearly, he still has to come and ask me about them. "Please visit restaurant X on Wednesday morning and speak to the manger." What is so hard about that? Why does he have to come into the office and start asking me about it, while I am clearly on the phone to a customer no less, when everything he needs to know is already written down? And then even worse he second guesses everything I tell him and we have the same conversation we had last time I left him a message, and the time before that, and the time before that.
"Did you leave me this note?"
"Yes."
"Restaurant X wants me to visit do they?"
"Yes."
"Oh. On Wednesday morning?"
"Yes."
"Oh....And see the manager?"
"Yes."
"Oh. Hmm, she phoned in did she?"
"She left a message on the answer machine, yes." (It's not like she going to be waiting outside the warehouse door at 7.30am to give me the message in person now is it?)
"Huh...Wednesday morning you say?"
"Yes."
"But I always visit on Wednesday morning."
"I'm just passing on the message she left on the machine."
"Ok, ok, I'm just asking. I suppose I'll go visit her then."


Seed packets always having far less than the average amount of seeds they say they do.

So just so we are clear, it's the message from the machine that said he should come on Wednesday is it?
This Wednesday, in the morning?


Something that annoys me is people who ask a question and then give a series of answers without leaving you time to actually answer.

So where you going on Holiday this year, Spain, France, Devon, Italy etc.... Irritating.

People who say can I "get" a mocha Locha Latte with skinny cream, rather than can I have.

Lidl not taking credit cards.

People who when you make a statement to them reply with 'It's not only that.......' I find this so irritating but it's not only that, it's the way they say it as though they are an expert on the subject!
