I have very little experience but from it I have gleaned that estate agents working on behalf of landlords (and the council when we rented a council flat) are total retards who's aim is to make your life difficult. Any thoughts?

If I were you I'd take a long holiday in the Correze. We know of a little place!

It crossed my mind this afternoon to go there for more than a long holiday!

You can sort of understand the council - public sector and all that but I'm cross that a business is successful when these are the people who work there!!

Can sympathise, just had lots of horrible experiences of estate agents as well. These ones certainly lived up to their reputation.

It makes me laugh when you read the blurb that Estate Agents put in their Adds, the first word is always "honest" Estate agents are the biggest bunch of liars EVER. All they want is a completion to get a bonus, they don't care how it comes about, plus they are in a possition to take back handers from developers and the like, the current rate is £1500 for something 25% off market value I believe!
