Wild cherries

Post: # 263065Post sda »

There are two cherry trees near my building. I'm assuming they are wild cherries. The fruits are in various stages of ripeness. The ones that are ripe are unlike the cherries in the shops as they are quite small, more of a tomato red and perfectly round. They don't have much flavour [I've tried a few and havent suffered any ill effects!] and they seem to be mostly stone with a bit of flesh around it, although they are quite juicy. Can anything be done with them without having to remove the stones?
