Very interesting and informative. I am convinced, but it is my husband who is anti! He is reluctant to let me have ducks even! He would be more than happy if I sold the hens and turned their yard into a veggie plot.

Check whether the Rowett Institute still has the llama herd - they used to have a large one. When I lived around there, I sometimes went to just wacth them through the fence... If they still have them, it's probably the nearest to you where you can have a look at them!

Yes, they do still have them, and they are quite close to me. Certainly a day trip there, thanks very much :) They actually have them for sale.
