We moved to Bulgaria from UK three years ago. We had no connections here, so was a little scary, but it turned out to be far easier than we imagined. Bulgarians are wonderful people, very welcoming and helpful, and houses are ridiculously cheap, you can get a cottage with acre of land for 5000 euro, though no doubt prices have increased over the last few years. Anyway, best move we've ever made. Wish we'd done it sooner.

It's really nice down there. Played Messac in a pre season friendly the other week and was really impressed with that part of the Correze, and so different to the millevache plateau where we are.
