Hi from Atlanta Georgia

Hi,

I'm make biodiesel in my backyard from waste vegetable oil. I love ending my dependence on others for my energy needs. So far I've put my van on biodiesel and I'm looking at ways to put my house on it as well.

A good source of information on learning how to make biodiesel at home is:

There are a couple of restaurants near my home that I collect from. Around here I got a lot of no before I got a yes.

Hi Rick, and welcome!

How much oil do you think you need to make the whole process worthwhile?

(I've got about 20l of sunflower oil that's past it's use-by date - but I suppose that's not quite enough to get started! )
