Chat feature

Post: # 17588Post Andy Hamilton »

There seems to achat feature on this new server, so I have set it up for use. - Not that high tech at all. I will see if it can be replaced, updated or whatever with something else but for now, it is better than nothing.

Sounds like a great idea - but only for when it's raining, otherwise we won't have any veggies to talk about!

Follow the link, type in your name and click on enter chat room. Might be eaiser to pm someone first as it appears that people are using it but not at the same time as anyone else.

Thought I'd lucked in.... As Shelle had a message posted in there.

Alas, it was 6 hours prior!

It would be fun to laugh in real time.

There is also now this one that Shilz has found http://gabbly.com/selfsufficientish.com

you just have to put the website that you want after the gabbly dot com.

Could be worth a try, see someone online you want to talk - pm them and then have a chat on gabbly.

Has anyone used the chat feature? I don't have the time - there were 57 new postings this morning to look at!

maybe not the best place for gossip as I just logged in and could see part of your chat. Spout soup eh  There does not seem to be any way to clear the chat either.

Ha ha, I know I tend to spout but I didn't know I spouted soup.

So when you log on and someone has been chatting, you can read what they said before you joined? That's unusual, and worth knowing.

yes, that is why I wanted to make people aware of it. We don't all want to share our every thought with the world.
