Woo-hoo! Found the Good Life
I found a DVD set of 3 seasons of The Good Life and, since I had some Christmas money to blow, I ordered it. Ever since I joined here, I've wanted to see the series.

Congratulations, you won't regret it, we still love the Good Life and always watch the repeats on the BBC.

I've got the box set - it was a present a year or so ago.
I can't tell how big an impression this rather silly comedy had on me back in the 70s. I still love it.

I was given the box set last year. Felicity Kendal made huge influence on me in the 70's.
Has anyone seen the plot, I seem to have lost mine?

I was a child in the 70s but have always loved The Good Life. I bought the various series individually and just recently watched them all again. It is a wonderful show, one of my all time favourites.

I'm sure if I'd ever had a TV I'd love to watch it, too...

Re: Woo-hoo! Found the Good Life
I think it is the Christmas special that is most repeated on the BBC - but usually in July/August for some reason!

Aw man I love The Good Life. I've got them all including the specials and Royal command performance. I love them, can't get enough. Whenever I'm ill and stuck indoors they are the only thing I watch!! I think I'm pretty much word perfect by now!! My favourite is season 2, The Guru of Surbiton. Let me know what you think!! (Yes I am a total sad case!)
