yellow beans?

Post: # 28865Post red swirl »

My climbing beans in a pot are just starting to come up, and the first/seed leaves look really yellow, I mean all over yellow, not just veins ...

What do you reckon:
(a) don't worry yet (easy!)?
(b) hope it rains less (or that the rain moves over to the catchment area)?
(c) test to see if the soil really is acidic (surely I diluted the bit of leftover acid soil I had with enough other organic stuff) ?
(d) other?

Cheers!

Ya got me Red!

I've done a bit of reading but no good and I haven't personally struck this. My thoughts are - possibly over watering; if they become pinched at ground level and fall over then it is damping off, a fungus. Possibly something to do with the cold or how much light are they getting?

try feeding them with a seaweed feed and see if that helps.
