Re: Guilty pleasures
I don't feel guilty about any foods which is probably why I need the diet

Hummus definitely - 300 calories a pot but I can polish the whole thing off with a packet of pitta bread in about ten minutes!

lol - I forgot mine!
Broken chocolate digestives in a mug with cold milk poured over, spooned out - wheaty mush and crisp chocolate. Only once in a while though.

When left alone and not forced to have a "proper" Sunday lunch there's nothing I like better than beans on toast with a sprinkling of cheese and brown sauce.

Cheese and chocolate, definitely.
I only overeat when I'm feeling rotten, though. Unfortunately, that's been most of the time recently. Lost a lot of weight without trying when the contract that's just coming to an end first started. I just need a job to feel human.

Re: Guilty pleasures
My father used to tell us kids "food is to keep us upright and perambulating - if it tastes good it's a bonus"
However, the foods I really can indulge in are soft cheeses, particularly the dAffinois style bries from Tasmania and King Island, smoked cod (Sth Africa) fresh Murray cod from Murrumbidgee and roast lamb (Southdown preferably).

Black pudding and fried egg sandwiches. Note the plural there.

Re: Guilty pleasures
Since discovering that I'm gluten intolerant and allergic to a lot of foods including dairy, chocolate and soya, I've ended up on a virtually paleo diet. The good news is that I've lost over three stone. The bad news is that my food treats are now black coffee and dried fruit.

Re: Guilty pleasures
Oh I totally forgot about my dried mango addiction. I never buy/make it. Too expensive and I can't stop eating it.

Re: Guilty pleasures
Dried mango , my daughter came home recently saying her friend had some in her lunchbox and she tried it and loved it and could we get some. We did and yes I'd agree it's hard to stop eating it. Going to have to try making some.
