Big Green Gathering here we come!

Post: # 28665Post Martin »

should the peace be uncanny, the politically-correct left unsavaged for a few days, and all toes untrodden, it'll be because I'm off at the Big Green Gathering!
I've now got the fun task of trying to shoehorn a wind turbine mast into our caravan! :?
I'll be back! (in about a week!)

Running around selling them! The only running I'll be doing is to the bar at last orders.

where is everyone?

I'm here (literally, i'm in the solar net cafe at the moment).

I've got long purple and pink dreads for this event, and i'm looking a bit like a mediaeval wench with my bright yellow mug attached to me bum bag!

People find me...i want a bag *wails like a 5 year-old*

BGG rocks...

Well, uhm, didn't actually get round to selling any bags. Faff would be the only word to describe the weekend. Left Bristol at three on Saturday, got to the festival at 9pm via Glastonbury and Wells to pick people up. Then on Sunday left at 1pm feeling a little worse for ware. So sorry Fee Fairy and anyone that wanted a bag - they'll be on sale again next weekend at the do we're putting on in Devon. Might even see me play live unless I bottle it on the night.

it was.........................sodding brilliant! - I even got to savage a couple of jobsworths!
Whether it was being surrounded by NICE kids (I normally loathe the creatures), or sitting chilling outside the Chai chapel yesterday evening, listening to the drummers, or charging loads of mobile 'phones from our wind turbine, and in the process meeting some really smashing people.....being aghast at the total lack of litter, or just the lovely relaxed vibe - I dunno :?
If you haven't been - go! You will LOVE IT :dave: :dave: :dave:

Stop talking about it and making me more and more jealous! Why do I always have to work extra hard when the really good things are on! Have been on the go since 6:30 (ok, I did have lunch and tea and coffees... ), but I still have at least two hours work at home (washing, jam, and more red currants  )...

Moan over. Can't have everything - at least I'll have my jam to show for it, and a bit of nice overtime money  !
