you are not Dick Strawbridge are you??

Fee is right - a 'what do you look like' section would be a good idea.

Glad you had a good time Martin... great pics...

his dad possibly! :?
I've heard several people use the words "life changing" about the BGG - it is!
You can know so many things on an intellectual level, but until you experience it for yourself, it doesn't really sink in.
I saw a vision of a FAR better world - we boogied, we learnt, we laughed, we lived, all in an incredibly eco-friendly way............ 8)
After the Glastonbury Festival, the ground is covered with detritus that takes days to clear up - at the ~BGG, I looked on the last night - there were perhaps 4 or 5 tissues on the whole field.........instead of fume-belching yammering diesel generators there were arrays of pv panels and wind turbines everywhere - and horsewagons and bikes doing the heavy work - it shows that it is possible to live, not just as well as "normal life", but BETTER! :dave: :dave: :dave:

ps, when I say "life changing", I mean it! - my partner in crime in Solarwind came along with his lady too - he's already negotiating for 5 acres of land with coppice woodland..........................

i agree, it was life changing. i'm on the lookout for a new job now. I need somethng that gives me more 'me' time.

I'm also thinking about the logistics of renting out a tipi to people. I saw one that i wanted to buy, but i'm wondering about whether people would pay to hire it, and how much and stuff. I fell in love with tipis!!

I have to say that BGG has definitely left me thinking about the impact i personally have on everyone and everything around me.

Oh yeah...and it introduced me to butt bins!! I even went out to cheddar and found a proper metal one..
