strange emails

Post: # 32130Post Andy Hamilton »

Got the strangest spam email the other day. All it said was say gouranga and be happy gouranga, gouranga, gouranga!

I looked it up and found this page

The orginal sender states "I am just very enthusiastic person, who wants everybody to be happy."

As it transpired I was feeling a bit down at the time I got it and it did make me feel a bit happier to see their motives.

Blimey - that's a blast from the past....

I used to see it up here in Scotland about 7 or 8 years ago maybe... maybe more!! I wondered what it was all about but didn't bother to look it up!

Maybe we should start a 'gouranga... be happy' thread. So many stories in the news are worrying/scary/depressing... yet there are plenty of good news stories out there.

What do you think???

Bloody Haries! Had enough of them back in the '70s. I suppose some of their ideas are OK - one tried to gouge me for money the other day, no orange robe or mention of Hare Krishna - But ISKCON was all over his paperwork so I knew where he was from. It may just be old (and bad) publicity, but I don't trust 'em.........

Not saying I trust them either, but there is nothing wrong with the sentiment to want everyone to be happy.

I went for a fantastic free meal at the Hare's when I was in Australia. All the backpackers went!

The only problem was that we had to sit through about 2 hours of mumbo jumbo first, and of course nobody mentioned that!
